The Maratón Powerade Monterrey is typically an AIMS-certified course that runs through Monterrey’s major landmarks including Parque Fundidora and the Paseo Santa Lucía canal, offering scenic urban and industrial views.

Finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a technical race shirt, and the race weekend includes an official expo with packet pickup, vendors, and a pre-race pasta dinner option for participants.

Aid stations are frequent (roughly every 2.5–3.5 km) with water, sports drink (Powerade), and electrolyte gels at selected tables, and medical support is available along the route.

The event features prize money and awards for overall and age-group winners, as well as a kids’ race and community 10K/21K events on race weekend to encourage family participation.

Practical tips: expect an early 06:45 start with cool morning temperatures that warm quickly, limited roadside parking due to road closures (use public transit or team buses), and popular spectator areas around Parque Fundidora and the Macroplaza.
